What You Need:

  • If you don’t have one you can get this from Squarespace after you set up your Squarespace account. All annual Squarespace website plans include one (1) year of free domain registration on available domains.

    If you already have a domain, it is fairly simple to transfer it or connect it to your new Squarespace website.

  • You will need a Squarespace hosting subscription for your new website. To use all features of this template including the custom fonts and design elements, you’ll need the Business Plan or higher.

    You don’t need to purchase your Squarespace until after you receive your template. With this template purchase, you’ll receive 20% off your first year of hosting.

    Jumped the gun and subscribed already? You can always cancel that subscription and repurchase once you receive the template. Squarespace automatically issue a full refund for annual website subscriptions canceled within 14 days of purchase.

    The colours of this template are completely customizable within Squarespace under Site Styles (the paint brush icon).

    Fonts

    The fonts in this template are completely customizable within Squarespace under Site Styles (the paint brush icon). However, the script font has been added with Custom CSS so if you’d like to swap it out or delete it, we will have to delete the code which is fairly easy to do.

    Website Tools > Custom CSS > Scroll down until you see the line item that says // To Delete The Script Font Delete Everything Above This Line. This Cannot be undone. // This will remove the custom font.

Once your new site is fully set up and ready to go live, you can easily redirect your domain to the new site. After ensuring everything is running smoothly on your new Heirloom site, you may then proceed to cancel the hosting for the old site. This process allows for a smooth transition without any downtime for your online presence.
